Curriculum Materials from BHS

The course recommendation window for teachers opened on 2/2 and will close on 3/11. The override window for parents/guardians will be open from 3/17 to 4/1.  Counselors had the opportunity to meet with BHS curriculum coordinators to learn more about the 9th-grade program and 9th-grade classes. To help with the recommendation process, we have included information about 9th-grade courses at the bottom of this email.  English History: No recommendations Math Science World Language

  Reminder: Curriculum Night & Special Education Overview on Wed. 2/11 Dear Parents, Guardians, and Caregivers for the Class of 2030,   We wanted to remind you that we have our Brookline High School Curriculum Night this Wednesday 2/11 at 7pm. We start in the Roberts and Dubbs Auditorium at our 115 Greenough Street building. Class of 2030 Transition Events  Wednesday Feb. 11 @ 7pm for 8th grade parents and guardians  Curriculum Night for English, Social Studies, Science, Math, World Language, Performing Arts, Visual Arts, Career and Technology Education, and Health/Fitness. It is a chance to hear from our leadership team, especially Curriculum Coordinators from each subject area.  Wednesday Feb. 11 @ 6pm for 8th grade parents and guardians  Overview of Special Education services and programs.  This separate and earlier portion of Curriculum Night is for parents and guardians to meet our special education leadership and available staff members. You will learn about the high school's robust continuum of special education programing.  Feb 9 – Feb 12 @ each K-8 BHS World Language “Road Show” is presenting this week during French and Spanish classes. February 6, 2026 Dear Parents/Guardians of the Class of 2030: The transition from middle to high school is an exciting one, and we are committed to making the process as smooth as possible.  It may seem overwhelming at times, but we are here to answer questions, help make decisions, and ensure appropriate placement. We are confident that your children are in great hands at Brookline High School and will be offered unparalleled opportunities for learning and growth.  The new 9th grade campus at 22 Tappan Street and STEM wing at BHS have proven to be outstanding upgrades in terms of space, services, and increased opportunities for personal and career exploration, and we are so lucky to have this incredible resource in our community.
